British Horse Society Free Returns

The British Horse Society (BHS) does not have a general return policy for horse passports, but there are specific situations where a passport must be returned. If a horse has died, the passport must be returned to the relevant Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO) within 30 days. In the event of a change of ownership, the passport must be submitted to the Passport Office along with a completed change of ownership form. The BHS cannot be held responsible for any passports that go missing in the post, and if a passport is lost, the owner will need to contact Royal Mail to attempt to resolve the issue.
